Ten tools for keeping tasks, deadlines and people organized, with the free plan limits and starting prices from each maker's own page.

A project management app gives your team one place to see who is doing what and by when. The right pick depends on team size, how many projects you run, and how much setup you will tolerate. Most of these have free plans, but the limits differ a lot, so read them before you move your work in.

How we picked

We opened each maker's official pricing page today and used only the plans and limits listed there. For strengths and trade-offs we leaned on one hands-on roundup from Zapier (last updated December 2025) and the pricing pages. Prices are in US dollars and change often, and some pages show regional or promotional pricing, so confirm before you buy. The order is a judgment call, not a test result.
