Amazon's Bee Launches Two New AI Note-Taking Devices Starting at $75

The Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse listen to your conversations and turn them into summaries, to-do lists and follow-ups.

Amazon's Bee launched two new personal AI devices on Thursday, October 15, according to TechCrunch. They are the first new hardware from Bee since Amazon acquired the company in 2025.

The Bee Frontier costs $74.99 and is available now on Amazon. It can be worn on the wrist or clipped to clothing, and TechCrunch lists IP67 water resistance, up to seven days of battery life, USB-C charging and dual microphones with noise filtering. The Bee Eclipse costs $99.99, is the size of a credit card and attaches magnetically to the back of a phone. TechCrunch says it follows "soon" after the Frontier.

Both devices summarize conversations, build to-do lists and draft follow-ups. For example, one can remember a meeting time you agreed to and create a calendar invite. They connect to Gmail, Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook. A free tier gives you conversation summaries and 14 days of memory. Bee Pro costs $11.99 a month and adds unlimited summaries, integrations with Amazon.com, Alexa+ and third-party apps, suggested to-dos and a personal chat assistant.

On privacy, TechCrunch reports that raw audio is not stored and is deleted after being processed in real time. Transcripts are encrypted with keys the device controls, and you can delete transcripts and summaries at any time. TechCrunch lists the Plaud Note at $159 and a Pocket AI device at $129 as competitors.

Why it matters for your business

If you spend your day in client calls and meetings, a $75 recorder that turns talk into tasks is cheap to test. Before you wear one, check the recording laws in your state and tell people they are being recorded. Compare the Bee Pro subscription cost with the AI note-taking tools you may already pay for.
